At DevStack, your privacy is a core value. RunShape is built with a Privacy-First architecture, ensuring your creative and fitness data never leaves your device.

1. Zero-Server Architecture

RunShape is a 100% Local application. We do not maintain user accounts, and we do not have a backend server infrastructure.

Location & GPS Data: All GPS tracks, hand-drawn shapes, and location history are stored exclusively on your device using encrypted system storage (SwiftData). We cannot access, view, or share this data.
No Third-Party SDKs: To ensure maximum privacy, we do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. Your behavior within the app is your business only.
Data Control: You have full control over your data. You can delete individual records or clear all local data at any time via the "Profile > Data Management" section.

2. System Integration

We utilize native Apple technologies to provide a high-quality experience without compromising privacy:

Apple Maps: Used for map rendering and intelligent road-snapping. Map interactions are governed by Apple's standard privacy policy.
HealthKit (Optional): If granted, heart rate and fitness metrics are read from Apple Health to display on your Bento posters. This data is never transmitted to us.

By using RunShape, you agree to these terms. RunShape is a creative tool for GPS art and route planning.

1. Scope of Service

RunShape provides features including Hand Draw, Intelligent Road Snapping, Pin Route, and Bento Style Posters. These features are provided for personal, non-commercial creative and fitness use.

2. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your own safety and the legality of the paths you follow. You agree not to use the app to trespass or enter hazardous or restricted areas.

Not a Navigation System.

RunShape is a creative tool, NOT a turn-by-turn voice navigation system. It is designed to provide visual reference for artistic paths, not guaranteed safe navigation. Always stay aware of your surroundings.

1. Algorithm & Data Limits

Our intelligent road-snapping algorithms rely on third-party map data. Generated paths may contain errors, such as suggesting crossing water, private land, or hazardous roads. You must verify the safety and legality of the route before starting.

2. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevStack and its developers shall not be liable for any injury, property damage, or legal issues arising from your use of the app or your decision to follow any suggested path.

3. Age Requirement

RunShape is recommended for users aged 18+. Minors must use the app only under the direct supervision of an adult who assumes full responsibility for their safety.

4. Onboarding Acceptance

Access to the map and tracking features requires explicit agreement to the in-app Safety Disclaimer provided during onboarding. By clicking "Agree" in the app, you reaffirm your acceptance of these terms.
